Even though Beckett might be (finally!) okay with being featured in Castle’s books, in a sneak peek of Monday night’s episode of “Castle,” it doesn’t look like she’s all that comfortable being featured on camera.

Castle, however, is (not surprisingly!) a-okay with that!

While Beckett avoids the cameras, Castle is his most charming self for the documentary film crew that is covering the murder of rock musicians

“It’s a great chance for our characters to speak straight to camera and break the fourth wall so to speak, and they have a lot of fun with it,” executive producer Andrew Marlowe told EW. “It’s behind the scenes at the 12th precinct…They really can let their guard down.”

Castle letting his guard down? Yes please!

And EW.com reports that there’ll be a few surprises when the characters get in front of the camera. “Jon Huertas is particularly terrific in that episode,” says Marlowe to EW.com. “His character starts off not really liking the cameras around and a few scenes in, he starts becoming the biggest ham. It’s really great.”

“Castle” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on CTV. Full episodes are also available online at CTV.ca.
