Retired OPP officer arrested in Florida sex sting

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — A former OPP officer from Lion's Head, Ont., is facing charges in an undercover sex sting in Florida.
Carl Robert Kitchen, 72, a part-time resident of Fort Meade, Fl., allegedly asked an undercover detective to perform a sexual act on him and exposed himself to the detective.
He told the arresting officers that he is a retired police officer who served for 31 years.
Three other people, including a pastor, were also arrested in the operation at Peace River Park in the Homeland area.
