U.S. Justice Dept. to appeal stem-cell ruling

WASHINGTON The U.S. Justice Department says it will appeal a court ruling that undercut the Obama administration's stem cell regulations.
A department spokesman, Matthew Miller, says the appeal is expected sometime this week.
On Monday, a federal judge blocked the Obama administration's expansion of stem cell research.
