Acting legends Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro and Catherine Deneuve will be joined by the likes of "The Boss" and billionaire Bill Gates at next month's Toronto International Film Festival.

TIFF's much-anticipated festival guest list was unveiled Tuesday morning, and it also includes stars such as Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Clive Owen and Matt Damon.

Eastwood, still steely at 80-years-old, will be making his first TIFF visit in 20 years. He'll be screening his supernatural thriller "Hereafter," which stars Damon as a reluctant psychic with a connection to the afterlife.

Bruce Springsteen will be showcasing "The Darkness on the Edge of Town" -- a documentary by Thom Zimy that chronicles the making of The Boss's seminal 1978 album.

De Niro and Edward Norton will be in Toronto for their highly-anticipated drama "Stone," directed by John Curran. De Niro plays a parole officer to Norton's corn-rowed, scheming inmate.

Gates, meanwhile, will be part of a discussion panel on education following a showing of Davis Guggenheim's Waiting for "Superman" -- which chronicles a handful of students and their families as they struggle and weave through a dysfunctional public education system. Guggenheim directed Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth."

Other big names expected in Toronto for the annual 11-day cinema showcase include Bill Murray, Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Hilary Swank.

TIFF also announced its final big program additions, including the complete lineup for its Masters, Mavericks, Visions, Vanguard and Discovery programs, as well as its Contemporary World Cinema list.

I don't particularly care for actors and singers and such types. I only respect people with exceptional brains: Scientists, Engineers, etc. But having said that, there are lots of people who adore these artists (for a reason I cannot understand), and therefore, I like them coming to my city.
