Listeria warning issued for certain B.C. sandwiches

VANCOUVER The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and a Surrey, B.C. company are warning people in New Westminster, Surrey and Langley, B.C. not to eat certain sandwiches.
King Bean Wholesalers is recalling its roast beef subs or kaisers sold in those areas.
The agency says the sandwiches may contain Maple Leaf products connected with the recent Listeria outbreak which has killed 10 people nationwide.
That includes an elderly man in Duncan.
The agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these sandwiches.
The agency says it is monitoring the voluntary recall.
