BRIDGEWATER, N.S. — The first-degree murder case of a Nova Scotia woman charged with killing her daughter has been set over until September.

The Crown attorney in the case involving Penny Boudreau says he and defence counsel discussed disclosure of evidence today and agreed to return to Bridgewater provincial court on Sept. 3.

Paul Scovil says the lawyers will review evidence and prepare for a likely preliminary hearing.

Scovil says they have completed most of the disclosure, which contains a "voluminous" amount of evidence.

He says the defence will review the documents and determine who they would like to call for the preliminary inquiry.

Penny Boudreau is charged with killing her 12-year-old daughter Karissa Boudreau, whose body was found on the snow-covered banks of a river near Bridgewater in February.
