The moment
Trapped in a bunker in Bolivia, the brothers in arms decide it's time to go out together in a blaze of Glory.

Why we get choked
They've been through thick and thin as bandits extraordinaire, so when they decide they want to die together, is there anything nobler than that? Pass the hanky.

Maybe it's that moment when Wind in his Hair asks Dances with Wolves if he can see that "he is his friend" and tells him that he "will always be [his] friend" that we missed.

Do you agree that this moment is one of the best?

Who missed Brian's Song when compiling this list? Billy Dee Williams as Gale Sayers at the awards banquet with his "I love Brian Piccolo" speech. Not just a member of the Top 25...at the least it's Top 3 of all time.

I'd like to add one...
"Miracle", when the US Olympic Hockey Team defeats the big, bad Russians. It's even more poignant with Al Michael's famous line..Do you believe in Miracles...YES!", Herb Brooks' classy exit to let the players have the glory and now we know that Brooks would later be killed in a car crash. It gets me every time I see the actual footage or the movie scene.

I agree that that moment for me in Dances with Wolves was one of the most moving and emotional for me. It's interesting that some women don't understand that.
