Not everyone gets to walk away with a JUNO award, but a lucky group of Canadian musicians are guaranteed to take home one of the coveted Juno Gift Bags.
In keeping with tradition, performers and presenters at this year's Juno Awards will each receive a gift bag filled with luxurious items worth several thousands of dollars.
The Juno loot bag includes an impressive array of decadent bedding, eyewear, cool clothes, cosmetics, gadgets and luxurious spa treatments.
Here's a peak at what the presenters and music acts, including Bedouin Soundclash, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, Michael Bublé and Nickelback, will be getting in their Danier Leather VIP Celebrity Traveler bags.
Recipients who plan to ditch the formal attire after the show can rock out in true Canuck fashion with T-shirts from Allmaple Apparel. They will get two of the more popular Ts – the "Friggen Eh" and "I Love Poutine" vintage designs.
They can look suave in Bollé and Serengeti model shades, bling with a Meir and co. watch, and smell irresistible in Chanel Allure Sport cologne and Chanel No. 5 perfume.
Presenters and performers can snack on decadent Saxon chocolates and connect with their friends and family using their Sony Ericsson W600 Walkman Mobile phones.
Partiers can rejuvenate their minds and bodies after the big event with lotions from Aveda and a two-hour session at body blitz - health by water spa.
The goody bag includes Crest products to whiten teeth, MAC cosmetics and hair care products from Pantene.
Other luxe items inside the swag bag include:
- Zip up jackets by Mondetta;
- PF Flyers/New Balance shoes;
- A CSI: Crime Scene Investigation board game;
- Gredico Footwear Foamtreads Leisure inserts;
- A Timothy's World Coffee home brewer;
- UJeans custom-designed jeans;
- A vacuum cleaner by Dyson Canada Ltd.; and
- Bedding products from Westex International.
The 2006 Juno Awards will be hosted by international superstar Pamela Anderson, and broadcast on CTV on Sunday, April 2, from the Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
