Our late evening news show, CTV News, is CTV Atlantic's final look at the day's events and the first chance for viewers to catch the evening's breaking news.

CTV News is anchored by Bruce Frisko, a transplanted Maritimer who hails from Saskatchewan. Bruce got his start in the television industry in Lethbridge, Alberta after having spent two years on the Regina radio scene. Looking for a change, Bruce made the move to ASN in 1995, where he began his Maritime broadcasting career as the Co-Anchor of Atlantic Pulse.

When Atlantic Pulse ended its very successful run, Bruce stayed on as the Anchor for Headline News. In 1998, this newscast was transformed into the current CTV News. Bruce has been with CTV News since its inception, helping to create and develop the program which he still anchors every weeknight.

CTV News airs live from the CTV Atlantic studio at 11:30 p.m. immediately following the CTV National News.
