CFB VALCARTIER, Que. A funeral has ended in Quebec for the most recent Canadian casualty in Afghanistan.
Mourners packed into a chapel at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier near Quebec City for a service honouring Cpl. Martin Dube.
Others waited outside to pay tribute to Dube, who was killed June 14 when one of two roadside bombs hidden in a culvert that he was trying to defuse exploded.
Dube, a combat engineer, was the 120th Canadian soldier to die on the Afghan mission.
He was a member of the 5e Regiment du genie de combat based at CFB Valcartier.
Dube, 35, was serving as a member of the joint task force headquarters when he was killed.
