A TTC bus driver and a passenger were hurt after a pumpkin was hurled through the windshield of the public transit vehicle in Toronto's west end on Wednesday night.
The suspected Halloween prank occurred near Royal York Drive and The Queensway.
The pumpkin was thrown when the bus was moving, causing it to smash through the windshield. The impact sent shards of glass into the driver's eye, police said.
The driver was taken to hospital. The severity of the employee's injury is not known.
Police said a passenger was also hurt in the incident, but their injuries were not immediately known.
Officers across the Greater Toronto Area investigated other Halloween pranks, which included trick-or-treaters being robbed of cellphones, iPods and bags of candy.
