Worth every penny to see her shows. She is unlike any other artist and puts on a 'real' show for her fan base. Anyone complaining about the prices of tickets should simply not go and sit on their comfy couches when it gets aired on TV. Relax people. Go. Dance. Have a good time. The music industry lost MJ so enjoy the Queen of Pop while we still have her. Have you heard whats playing on the radio these days?!

I like Madonna and have been watching her interviews lately about the Super Bowl, her movie, her new CD and have been to past concerts. But, as Garth Brooks said in an interview (paraphrasing) I want all of my fans to be able to come and see me, that's why I don't charge a lot for my concert tickets. Even my roadies have 6 figure salaries - we're not doing it for the money.

In this economy, her team should/could rethink the prices.

I like Madonna I think that she still has it and I loved her half time show thought it was great!

I have loved Madonna all my life as she is a fantastic artist but after saying that the fans better get ready to pay a lot for her tickets cause she is worth it turned me right off. Most shows are 100.00 and that to me is enough. Most of the people that would love to go to the show have supported her during her younger years and to me this is like a slap in the face. Nope she can entertain the rich I wont be going.

Sounds like Dean in Abby is using this platform to write comments that are close to be libellous about his fellow neighbours, the Quebecers. Madonna music language is English and it is not expected from her to sing in French, it is expected that she will say "bonsoir" when she is in the province of Quebec. I will see her in Ottawa!

Everyone should give Madonna a break, when was the last time any of you made $300 million. Your all just negative people, that have nothing to do but complain about everything. IF you don't having anything nice to say, then keep your opinion to yourselves, there's obviously a lot of people that do like her.

Cheers to MADONNA

joe canada,
I am so sorry to tell you this but if you think that Madonna is too old then you need to get out there and play like a kid again. If you feel like you are too old to listen to her then go buy yourself a Sinatra CD and be quiet already.
Her age has nothing to do with this. You are just a jealous, Conservative red neck who needs to have a good time. Get a life, she is the best and she will always be Madonna!

Hey Girly,
In Quebec it's pronnounced - BON-JOURE. Anything after that will be unacceptable. I hope the language police will get on her case like the rest of us English. Simply unbelieveable that she would dare come to Quebec and sing english songs S.T.

For those of you seperatists (purposely spelt wrong) - I expect you to boo her and chase her out of your province and she or any other english performer never steps a foot into your second rate ideals.

So sad....I am really disappointed that she is not coming to Winnipeg or even Edmonton/Calgary. I am from Saskatchewan and often we don't get the big big shows but we could travel to our neighbours!!!!! Please Please Please add more tour dates!!!!!

The difference Kurt is the Metallica and pretty much ALL Metal bands know their fans better than Madonna knows her fans. Metal bands understand that it's not easy making a buck because they themselves have slaved to be where they are today. Hey Heavy MTL is $200 for weekend VIP pass.

That's the difference.

Even when I went to see Rush. I got really good seats for $100, and I saw their merch. Not overpriced at all. I was impressed. I think shirts were like $25-$40 max, and Neils book was shelf price.

I'm not a fan of Kid Rock but he said,"if a person downloads my music to listen to because he can't afford it, then fine." (something to that effect). I got more respect for him just saying that.

Its so sad to say that in spite of her useless superstardom at her current age, the "material=girl" persona who enjoys a lavish lifestyle reached to the point where she completely neglected to see the needs of her homeless Older Brother who lives in a bridge somewhere in Michigan. Its not bad to enjoy the fruits of your labour, but to detach yourself from family is very questionable and very irresponsible.

@ Dean in Abby: Well Madonna is half-Quebecois so Quebecers might give her a little 'worthless hospitality' regardless of those stupid concert performances.

At least she is skipping Calgary in her Canadian tour and sparing us the site of her wrinkles. Our old-age homes must be full. Besides, I hear the mushy soup and brown toast tastes much better on the Vancouver coast line.

I'm betting it'll be less than 5 years before she's pitching dental hygiene products for senior citizens.

After all these years Madonna still got it! She's been a big influence in my life and for others. She's an amazing entertainer and artist. I'm excited about her new tour. I've been to her shows and it was worth every penny. Expensive yes but worth it. For those with the negative and cheap comments, next time don't watch her performance like you did for Super Bowl. Switch channel or don't bother with it. How many singers or bands have been in the spotlight for that many years and are still going? She must be doing something right.....
Looking forward to her show and new release!

If she sticks around for a few more years, she will be able to do all her singing and dancing on the senior circuit.

I think she makes a good point of fans having to work all year to afford to see her, and that people spend $300 on all kinds of useless stuff. She works hard, we should too. Nobody gets a freebie.

I watched the Super bowl and to be honest someone has to sit her down and remind her of her age. Her music and style is for young teenagers to early tewnties. She is old enough to be a grandmother to some of her fans. I talk to nieces and nephews and they refer to her as that old lady. I'm not sure if it was her boots she was wearing or her age but she did not move around the stage very well at half time.

Very excited to see that Madonna is seeing Canada as a destination. Last time see only played three cities. She clearly has more and more fans up here in Canada. (except those people that leave comments like the ones below, They just need to get over them selves. Oh and she isn't Metallica. She's Madonna! Know the difference!)

So insulting her message to her fans saying that if they want to see her show, they better get ready to pay a lot of money for tickets. I wouldn't see for free on TV. I used to be fan... but not after that comment. She was over about 10 years ago anyway.

Times must be getting tough for her if she is making five Canadian stops. Big names usually don't even give Canada a second look.

Are the Quebecers going to squawk that she doesn't sing enough French or do they just reserve that for the rest of Canada? Let's not be hypocrites now. Fair is fair.
