George Clooney to present at SAG Awards

George Clooney is among the presenters at this Sunday's Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. The 'Descendants' actor will hand out one of the prizes at the annual event, producers confirmed today.
George's close friend Brad Pitt and Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates will also presents award, as will Owen Wilson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Kristen Wiig and Sir Ben Kingsley.
Previously-announced presenters for the show include Michelle Williams, Tina Fey, Natalie Portman, John Krasinski, Julianna Margulies, Maya Rudolph, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon, Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep.
'The Help' leads the nominations for the awards with the Deep South drama contending for Best Ensemble Cast with 'The Artist', 'Bridesmaids', 'The Descendants' and 'Midnight in Paris', while its stars Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer are individually nominated for awards.
Viola will contest for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role against 'Albert Nobbs' star Glenn Close, 'The Iron Lady's Meryl Streep, Tilda Swinton for her role in 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' and 'My Week With Marilyn' actress Michelle Williams.
Dick Van Dyke will present a Lifetime Achievement Award to Mary Tyler Moore in recognition for her career achievement and humanitarian accomplishments at the ceremony, which takes place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.
