Each early November I get very excited as I head out to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to be a decorating presenter at an event called Christmas In November. This very special event allows me to spend 2 weeks in the beautiful Jasper National Park and its where I get my season's first sight, smell and sounds of Christmas. From cooking and baking, wine and spirits, decorating and entertaining, the Christmas In November event provides its guests (and presenters too!) with everything they need to know in order to create an incredibly stylish holiday season when they return home. Needless to say I come home after the event primed and ready for holiday decorating and entertaining.

During my stay I toured one of the signature estate cottages on the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge property. The Gardener's Cottage at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, Alberta is a beautiful 4 bedroom, self contained accommodation. Set back from the main lodge, this cheerful cottage warms any heart the moment it is entered. 2 fireplaces, lower level games room (with pool table), gourmet kitchen, porch entry and mountain views make this specialty cabin a special place; summer or winter.

I toured the Gardener's Cottage while it was fully decorated for the holiday season. Thousands of holiday decor touches were put throughout the cabin; all meticulously executed by the gardening and decor team at the Jasper Park Lodge for the Christmas In November event.
