Hi,

Always enjoy Michael's segments.

I am wondering if he could recommend the best kind of cookware for someone who is not a gourmet cook but wants to eat healthy foods cooked in healthy ways?

Thanks!

Donna.

Hello Donna!

Your question is a goodie. I discovered some great cookware about a year and half ago. Since then I've taken it onto the show and displayed its qualities a few times.

I too was looking to somehow replace my Teflon pots & pans with some earth/human friendlier options. After discovering years ago what went into producing non-stick cookware I realized there needed to be change in our particular household. It turns out that there is technology out there called thermalon that produces great non-stick surfaces for cooking without the worry of toxic fumes. You can find this technology under the brand "Green Pan", the packaging even boasts being earth friendly. It doesn't matter whether you're a professional cook or not, this cookware is good for one and all. Give it a whirl!

All the best,

~mpc
