Decorating expert Karl Lohnes is the newest addition to the Canada AM family. Karl is one of the top design authorities in Canada and speaks a language of simple and stylish, no-nonsense decorating.

You can look forward to decorating segments covering everything from 'easy-to-do' projects, kitchen and bathroom trends and the latest home accessories and furniture styles.

Karl's career in decorating started by producing and writing decor stories for magazines and newspapers, then quickly evolved into television appearances, teaching decorating seminars and providing private, in-home design consultations. He travels extensively to design and trade shows in search of 'what's new' in order to stay on top of the trends.

Karl's fan base runs coast-to-coast and he is proud to say he's helped decorate homes in every province and territory our country has. Whether it's helping to choose the right paint colour for a kitchen in Kelowna, purchasing a sofa for a family room in Calgary or choosing bedroom window fashions in New Brunswick, Karl always seems to have the right advice and ideas!

Most of Karl's current work consists of seminar speaking at consumer and trade show events, giving in-home decorating consultations to homeowners and now visiting every few weeks to update us on what is happening in the world of home décor.

To get in touch with Karl regarding something you've seen on the show or his appearances, please email: homedecor@ctv.ca
