Dec. 18 Holiday Guide: Foolproof wrapping moves for super wrappers:
- 1) Use a box: Odd shapes are a challenge to wrap. Look for boxes in unlikely places around your home. Or ask the store for a box when you purchase a gift.
- 2) Shield your gift with tissue paper: Ensure your gift is protected inside the box, collect elegant coloured tissue papers to line the box. A layer of tissue paper is a nice surprise and adds to the ambience on Christmas morning.
- 3) String theory: Use a piece of string to measure around large or odd-shaped gifts to determine how much paper you need.
- 4) Personal touches: Bows are always a nice touch but adding more creative touches such as ribbon, ornaments or candy can really make a gift stand out under the tree.
- 5) Get a sidekick: Additional hands can be helpful so ask your kids to join in. Use the Scotch Paper Cutter for a clean line and Scotch Refillable Tape Dispenser to make gift wrapping safe, fast and fun for the whole family.
