Lonely Planet editor calls Saskatoon 'tunefully suggestive'

SASKATOON — An editor with the popular travel guide "Lonely Planet" has declared Saskatoon the most "tunefully suggestive city" in the world.
New Yorker Robert Reid was hired to create online videos for seven cities for the Canadian Tourism Commission.
In the Saskatoon video on YouTube, he declares it to have "the greatest city name of all time -- Saskatoon Saskatchewan" and sets out to write a song about it.
Reid raps rhapsodic in the video about how "it's got seven bridges, it's got river trails, and it's the place from which Joni Mitchell hails."
He also interviews Mayor Don Atchison and shows off one of his proudest awards -- a trophy bestowed upon him by comedian Rick Mercer as "Canada's Craziest Mayor."
Saskatoon Tourism is promoting the video on their Twitter feed, and media relations coordinator Alex Stang says Reid did a good job of capturing the feeling of the city.

I feel that if certain organs were in demand, less effort would be made to revive people. Am I being silly? Not really. I had a bad experience in hospital when my heart stopped, the doctors tried to revive me and failed. They stopped and said I was gone. I came around on my own when the nurse was giving a final BP reading of 'zero'. I heard her declare me dead! It was all I could do to shake my head but they never caught on til I was able to open my eyes. You should have seen them scramble then! I thought the nurse was going to faint. The thing is, I think we may write people off too soon when there is something of value to be gained from them.
