CASTLEGAR, B.C. — Sex assault charges have been laid against a 24-year-old man who police say had sex with a 14-year-old girl in Castlegar, B.C. and posted photos of her on her Facebook site.

The Mounties are also trying to identify other young women depicted in nude pictures found on the man's computer to determine whether other charges should be laid.

The investigation began after a family member of the 14-year-old girl told police the man had taken pictures of the girl and sent them to her Facebook account.

Police say the girl and the man had been involved in a sexual relationship for the past few months.

They say they're trying to identify the other girls he took photos of to determine their age and more charges may follow if it's found the photos were taken without consent or the man had sex with anyone under age.

The man has been released under condition he obey a curfew, not have possession of a computer have no contact with the victim or any female under the age of 18 without permission.
