The U.S. TV show "America's Most Wanted" will feature a segment on Victoria (Tori) Stafford on Saturday night, in hopes of generating new leads in the case of the missing Ontario schoolgirl.

The eight-year-old Grade 3 student disappeared after leaving her Woodstock, Ont., elementary school on April 8.

She was last seen wearing a skirt, a green shirt and a black Hannah Montana jacket with a fur-lined hood.

Tori was later seen on surveillance video, walking with an unidentified woman in the direction of her home the same day she disappeared.

Police have since released a composite sketch of the mystery woman, but have yet to identify who she is.

Investigators describe the woman as being 19 to 25 years old, at least 5'1" tall and weighing about 125 pounds. She is believed to wear her long dark hair in a ponytail.

Tori's father, Rodney Stafford, has said he believes the unidentified woman looks like someone he went to high school with.

Her mother, Tara McDonald, says she does not recognize the woman.

On Thursday, Tori's mother revealed more details about the day her daughter disappeared.

McDonald said she was expecting Tori to bring home two friends to watch the movie "High School Musical 3" with her.

Tori was then supposed to go spend some time with her dad, McDonald said.

McDonald and her two children had only been living at their current address for six days, she said.

Tori's mother has been separated from Stafford for some time and does not live with him.

The investigation into Tori's disappearance was originally being handled by Oxford Community Police, but is now being led by Ontario Provincial Police.

Earlier this week, OPP Det.-Insp. William Renton told reporters that police have received some 1,200 tips since Tori first went missing.

Police have searched local waterways and an area garbage dump, while investigating the case. They have also recanvassed neighbourhoods in Woodstock.
