Saskatchewan, Manitoba premiers wage Grey Cup bets

WINNIPEG Brad Wall of Saskatchewan and Manitoba Premier Gary Doer have made a Grey Cup bet that will see the loser have to eat some humble pie in a very public place.
Sometime after Sunday's matchup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the premiers have agreed to erect a sign beside the Trans-Canada Highway at the provincial boundary.
The sign will read "Welcome to the Home of the 2007 Grey Cup Champions'' and the losing premier will have to wear the winning team's jersey.
The mayors of Winnipeg and Regina have made a similar bet, which will see the losing mayor stand at an intersection in the winning team's city and wave hand-held signs.
Sunday's CFL championship game marks the first time Winnipeg and Saskatchewan will meet in the Grey Cup final.
Brad Wall was to be sworn in as premier of Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
