Statement for CTV from CDI, regarding Whistleblower report for June 8, 2006:
CDI has been helping students in Canada acquire job skills since 1969. In an independent satisfaction survey conducted in March 2006, 91% of CDI students said they were satisfied with their education and 94% were satisfied with their instructor. Thus far, 87% of 2005 graduates have obtained jobs in their chosen field. At CDI-Sudbury, our satisfaction, graduation and job placement rates are equally impressive.
Classes are led by qualified, experienced instructors, and class sizes are generally small, allowing for more individualized attention. Our programs are approved by the Ontario Ministry and combine lecture and instruction with self-directed study.
Ultimately, the success of each student depends on his or her willingness to work hard and complete the prescribed course of study.
