Eddie Cibrian joins the cast of 'CSI: Miami'
When “CSI: Miami” returns for its eighth season this fall, there’ll be a new investigator ready to don a pair of jet black sunglasses.
Actor Eddie Cibrian, best known from his stint on “Third Watch,” will join the series as a police officer from Hollywood, California named “Jesse Cardoza.” Cibrian has also appeared in “The Young and the Restless,” “Ugly Betty,” and “Samantha Who?”
Cibrian has been the subject of tabloid fodder this past summer following his highly publicized divorce with his wife Brandi Glanville.
Last season, “CSI: Miami” ended with a cliffhanger as the Miami-Dade CSIs searched for their missing teammate Eric Delko (Adam Rodriquez). Producers have confirmed that Rodriquez will return in the upcoming season, but there’s no word about the fate of Megalyn Echikunwoke’s pill-popping “Dr. Tara Price.”
The upcoming season premiere of “CSI: Miami” also promises a mind-blowing twist: the series will flash-back to the year 1997 and will tell the story of how the CSI team first met, including Cibrian’s Cardoza, and the formation of their division.
“CSI: Miami” kicks off the new season on Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 / 9 C on CTV. Check your local listings for more details.
