Daytime Emmy-nominated actress Eva La Rue continues to heat up prime time television. Her numerous television credits include recurring roles on "The George Lopez Show" and "Third Watch". Her television movie credits include starring roles in "Cries in the Dark," Danielle Steele's "Remembrance" and as the title role in "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story." She is also known for her role as Dr. Maria Santos on the daytime drama "All My Children." For this role she earned an Emmy and NAACP nomination and won two ALMA Awards. She was also awarded an esteemed Gracie by the Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television.La Rue was a co-host on the E! Style Network's "Modern Girl's Guide To Life" and served as a correspondent and part time weekend anchor for the syndicated show "Extra!".
On the charity front, La Rue served two years as spokesperson for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and continues to help raise money for ovarian and breast cancer. She recently served as host for the 2009 Lupus LA Orange Ball. A native of Southern California, La Rue lives in Los Angeles with her daughter, Kaya.
