It’s a big week on CTV with two brand new shows hitting the airwaves. Marilyn Monroe is brought to life on Broadway in “Smash.”

And things get serious on Wednesday evening with the CTV original documentary “Darkness and Hope: Depression, Sports and Me” featuring TSN Broadcaster and “Off the Record” host Michael Landsberg as he opens up about his journey from depression to recovery and hope in the context of the world of sports.

And if you’d prefer to curl up with a box of chocolates, “Up All Night” and “Grey’s” have Valentine’s Day themed episodes. With all the couples’ drama on “Grey’s,” it should be a doozy of a V-day!

Monday, Feb. 6

The second part of the “blind auditions” continue as the superstar coaches search and pick artists to join their respective teams. 

10 p.m. – SMASH – “Pilot” – SERIES PREMIERE
In the highly-anticipated premiere of the new series SMASH, the hit-making Broadway team of Julia Houston (Debra Messing) and Tom Levitt (Christian Borle) unite with producer Eileen Rand (Anjelica Huston) to create a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. Broadway newcomer Karen Cartwright (Katherine McPhee) and seasoned chorus girl, Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty), compete for the dream role. Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey, Brian d'Arcy James and Jaime Cepero also star.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

A serial killer with knowledge of Carrie’s (Poppy Montgomery) memory abilities, taunts the Queens PD as his list of victims grows. Emmy Award®-winner Jane Curtin (THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN) joins the cast as Medical Examiner Joanne Webster.

9 p.m. – THE RIVER – “Pilot/Marbeley” – TWO-HOUR SERIES PREMIERE 
In the exciting series premiere of paranormal thriller THE RIVER, Dr. Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood), beloved adventurer and television personality, goes missing in the Amazon. Six months later, the search is called off and Dr. Cole is presumed dead. However, his wife Tess (Leslie Hope) and son Lincoln (Joe Anderson) have reason to believe he is still alive. To fund the rescue, Tess and Lincoln agree to let Dr. Cole’s cagey ex-producer, Clark (Paul Blackthorne), film the mission documentary-style. A crew is gathered to continue the search and is faced with having to solve horrifying and haunting mysteries.  

Wednesday, Feb. 8

The CTV original documentary DARKNESS AND HOPE: DEPRESSION, SPORTS AND ME features TSN Broadcaster and OFF THE RECORD host Michael Landsberg as he guides viewers on the journey from depression to recovery and hope in the context of the world of sports. Sports heroes including Olympian and Bell Let’s Talk Day spokesperson Clara Hughes, hockey’s Stéphane Richer, and baseball’s Darryl Strawberry reveal intimate details of a struggle familiar to millions of Canadians.

Auditions continue as superstar judging panel Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler sit through more good, bad and outrageous auditions in search for the next singing superstar in the eighth round of auditions.

9 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Snake Eyes” – NEW EPISODE
The BAU team is called in to investigate a series of casino-related murders in Atlantic City.  Meanwhile, Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) thinks she and Morgan (Shemar Moore) may have become a little too close to each other.

10 p.m. – CSI – “Tressed to Kill” – NEW EPISODE
When a woman is found dead in vintage clothes with her hair styled into a 70s look, the CSI team discovers clues that point to a killer with a hair fetish.

Thursday, Feb. 9

8:30 p.m. – UP ALL NIGHT – “Day After Valentine’s Day” – NEW EPISODE
When Ava (Maya Rudolph) and Kevin (Jason Lee) have an epic blowout, Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Chris (Will Arnett) find themselves wishing for some relationship drama, and unintentionally end up creating some of their own.

9 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “All You Need is Love” – NEW EPISODE
Valentine’s Day brings excitement to all the couples at Seattle Grace. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) try to have a night to themselves when Lexie (Chyler Leigh) offers to watch Zola. Meanwhile, the ER fills with romantics, including a 10-year-old girl who has an allergic reaction to chocolate, and a man who is hit by a car while chasing his frustrated girlfriend.

10 p.m. – THE MENTALIST – “At First Blush” – NEW EPISODE
Jane (Simon Baker) tries to help prove the innocence of a woman who is currently on trial for murder before time runs out. Meanwhile, Summer (guest star Samaire Armstrong, DIRTY SEXY MONEY) may have gone too far when she helps Cho (Tim Kang) make a case against a suspect. Diane Farr (NUMB3RS) also guest stars as Amy Barron, the accused murderer's best friend.
